CFA Institute to Host 2020 Annual Conference in Atlanta

Daniel Zimmerman of Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, previously served as a managing director at Goldman Sachs in New York City. In his role, he comanaged the firm’s Small-/Mid-Cap Growth Fund. An active member of his field, the Monmouth Beach resident has worked to improve his knowledge and skills as a member of groups such as the CFA Institute, through which he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

In addition to offering industry-leading professional designations, the CFA Institute conducts research, advocates for the finance industry, and hosts a variety of educational events for financial services professionals. Currently, the organization is preparing to host its 73rd Annual Conference, which will take place May 17-20, 2020, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

During the four-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in an educational program comprising interactive workshops on a range of topics, among them wealth management and financial trends. The conference will also feature sessions covering career and personal development.

The lineup of speakers at the 73rd CFA Institute Annual Conference will include noted investors, such as Howard Marks of Oaktree Capital Management; leading researchers, such as Aswath Damodaran of the Stern School of Business; and bestselling authors, such as Michael Lewis. Laura Vanderkam, a time-management expert and author, and Annie Duke, a professional poker player and decision strategist, will also speak at the event.
